The Lubbock Community Theatre presents the classic, A Raisin in the Sun. It’s the story of a family who all have different plans for their late patriarch’s life-insurance money. Not only do they face their own family tensions, they also face the prejudices of the time in Chicago’s South Side. Opening night is Friday and the show runs for three weekends. Tickets are $22 for adults and $17 for seniors and students, and you can get them through the Theatre’s website.
