Texas Tech was unable to keep up with one of the top scoring teams in the nation in Wednesday’s 90-56 loss to New Mexico in Albuquerque.
The Lady Raiders trailed by ten points at the half then watched the Lobos outscore them 53-29 in the second half.
Texas Tech shot 36 percent from the field in the loss and the team was just 3-for-20 from three-point range.
Brie Blaire led the Lady Raiders with ten points in the loss.
Texas Tech (3-5) tries to end its four-game losing streak next week.
The Lady Raiders host Prairie View A&M at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at United Supermarkets Arena.
