Happy Wednesday everyone! We have had another cold day across the South Plains with areas to our south getting to see ample rain snow mix. Drier conditions are expected to return tomorrow but we are forecasting the cold conditions to stick around. Thursday morning lows will drop into the low 20’s and highs will struggle to reach the 40’s. That means that it is imperative to bring your pets and potted plants indoors and turn sprinklers off this week to prevent a multitude of issues. Thankfully, temperatures will start to rebound by Friday afternoon with highs pushing into the mid-50’s and then the mid-60’s over the weekend. Sunshine will also return on Friday with precipitation staying out of the forecast for the next week. Despite the warm up, lows will still flirt with the freezing mark so make sure to keep your jackets handy.
