Here is your updated forecast from the KLBK First Warning Weather Center as of Saturday evening.

Short Term Forecast:
High clouds will continue to stream across the South Plains and the Rolling Plains overnight.  This will keep us mostly cloudy and our overnight lows on the mild side with middle and upper 40s expected. We’ll start Sunday on the cloudy side, but the cloud cover will decrease as we progress throughout the day. Mostly sunny conditions will return by afternoon. Highs on Sunday will once again warm into the lower 70s. 

Extended Forecast:
Forecast models continue to show a dry forecast over the next seven days. ​​​​​The extended forecast brings colder air back into the South Plains and the Rolling Plains this week. We’ll still be warm on Monday with highs in the lower and middle 70s. The colder air mass will arrive on Tuesday, with highs on into the 40s across the area. We’ll climb into the low 50s on Wednesday and fall back into the upper 40s and low 50s on Thursday. Temperatures will warm back into the middle to upper 50s on Friday and back into the lower 60s next weekend. Overnight lows will drop from the 40s Monday morning back into the 30s Tuesday morning. It’ll be even colder with lows in the 20s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. We’ll be in the upper 20s to lower 30s Saturday morning.

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy in the morning. Clouds will decrease throughout the day. Becoming mostly sunny by afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s with a southwesterly wind 5 to 10 miles per hour. 

Sunday Night: Mostly clear and mild. Low clouds may develop off the Caprock by morning. Lows in the middle to upper 40s. 

Monday: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the lower to middle 70s.
