Happy Friday everyone! After a mild start to the work week, the strong cold front that pushed across the region last night has brought us a drastic drop in temperatures. Today our high temperatures will struggle to reach the mid-50’s but we have a slow warm up expected over the weekend after tomorrow’s freeze. Another issue to keep in mind is that winds will be strong this evening which will cause it to feel a whole lot colder outside. The coldest time frame will come on tonight into Saturday morning as temperatures drop into mid to upper 20’s. That means it is imperative to bring your pets and potted plants indoors early Friday evening. It is also important to bundle up for all the area wide high school football games going on tonight. Thankfully, by Sunday we will start to see temperatures get back into the low 70’s with more sunshine on tap. However, another front will push through on Tuesday that will bring cooler temperatures and possible rain to the region on our Halloween holiday so make sure to stay tuned for updates.
