Lubbock Fire Rescue was dispatched to the Texas Tech University campus Monday morning following reports of a fire at a dormitory.
The fire was reported around 10:30 a.m. at Horn/Knapp Hall.
When firefighters arrived on scene, smoke could be seen coming from the third floor.
LFR said construction on the third floor caused a small fire to ignite.
Horn/Knapp Hall was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
