Happy Wednesday everyone! With ample moisture in the region, it has been another overcast and rainy day across the South Plains. This will remain the case tomorrow as well which will keep temperatures below average yet again. However, we will get the chance for a brief warm up on Friday as our moisture levels start to decrease and we get the chance to see a little sunshine. This will be short-lived though as our next cold front slides across the area overnight Friday into Saturday morning. Overnight and early morning showers and thunderstorms are expected, but should clear out by mid-morning. Sunshine will return Saturday afternoon with another day of below average temperatures. Sunday we heat up and see more sunshine before the next cool down projected for the beginning of next week.
