Local pastor at Experience Life Church, Brandon Gwinn, wrote and produced a song in honor of Luke Siegel and his powerful story of perseverance.
“It’s devastating to think about, as a parent you don’t want to ever image something like that could happen but at the same time you know it could happen to any of us,” Gwinn said. “It’s a freak thing that nobody could see coming and in a split second their whole world has changed in a split second.”
Everything changed for the Siegel family on a July day two years ago when Luke was involved in a serious golf cart accident. Since then it has been nothing but faith and perseverance on his road to recovery.
After hearing more details of Luke’s story from his dad, Tim, Gwinn said he was motivated to share his story through song. He said anyone facing hard times could relate to song and the message.
“I think the message that translates is just there’s still another day today and the suns still rising tomorrow and all we can do really is just put one foot infant of another and keep doing what we know to do,” Gwinn said.
