AgTexas Farm Credit Services held a groundbreaking ceremony late Wednesday morning to celebrate the start of construction on it’s new Lubbock office.
The new office, which will be located at 5004 North Loop 289, will serve as both the headquarters and a branch office.
According to a news release, the new office is 21,000 square-foot.
AgTexas Farm Credit Services is a rural lending cooperative, providing financing for real estate and operating capital, as well as insurance, leasing and cash management services for the Ag industry since 1934.
They serve over 2,400 members in 43 counties through 13 offices, including Amarillo, Brownfield, Burleson, Dimmitt, Dumas, Friona, Hillsboro, Levelland, Lubbock, Muleshoe, Plainview, Seminole and Stephenville.
