We’ll get one more day of showers in the area on Friday. The coverage is looking to only be 30%. But, at least we’re still talking about rain and cool air in late September. The system that brought us all the rain and cool air this week is moving away, so will the storms. There will be wet weather for some high school football games, so have the ponchos with you. We’ll only hit a high of 65°.

Cloudy skies will be the story for Saturday. The wind will drop down to 5-10 mph, which will be nice. I can’t rule out a leftover shower in the area at 10%. So, if you’re tailgating in the afternoon, have an umbrella, or poncho in your car, just in case. As we move throughout the evening, the coverage will begin to drop off. So, we will be dry for kickoff of Oklahoma State and Texas Tech by the 7:00 kickoff. We’ll see a high of 72°, with kickoff temperature of 66°.
