Texas Speaker of the House Joe Strauss isn’t afraid he’ll make Governor Abbott or Lt. Governor Patrick mad. He’ll anger people in his own party. Now, his targets are the people who like to fly the Confederate flag once and a while.
Who does the House of Representatives call when they need a fix for the rural health care problem. They call on Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. The fix for a lot of West Texas residents will require a big team effort.
Congressman Jodey Arrington also stops by Talking Points this week. We’ll spend five good minutes with Arrington who gives us an update on what’s happening in Washington.
