The Texas Tech men’s basketball program will take on Seton Hall as part of the Under Armour Reunion doubleheader at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, November 30th announced Wednesday.

Tip time is set for 5:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be nationally televised by FS1. It marks the second straight season that Under Armour and Madison Square Garden have joined for a collegiate basketball partnership.

“Our basketball program is looking forward to competing in the Under Armour Reunion doubleheader at Madison Square Garden,” Texas Tech Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt said. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes to play in a truly historic venue and to experience a great city. We thank Under Armour for our continued partnership.”

The matchup versus Seton Hall will be Tech’s first inside the world’s most famous arena since the 2005-06 season. The Red Raiders have won two games at Madison Square Garden highlighted by a 71-61 victory over Minnesota to secure a third-place finish during the 2003 NIT. Texas Tech also knocked off Utah by a 65-54 margin in the 2003 NIT Season Tipoff event.

The Red Raiders emerged with a convincing 87-69 win over Seton Hall during the one previous meeting between the two programs at the 2010 NIT First Round. Five players racked up double figures for Tech sparked by two-time All-Big 12 Honorable Mention pick John Roberson’s 22 points. D’walyn Roberts also tacked on a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Texas Tech ranked 26th in the nation for the largest average attendance increase between the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. More season tickets have already been sold for 2017-18 than all of last season. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets now to reserve the best available seats.

Season tickets are on-sale and feature affordable payment plans for as low as $199. Season tickets can be purchased in person at the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office located on the East Side of Jones AT&T Stadium, online at www.TexasTech.com or over the phone at (806) 742-8324. Single-game and mini-plan ticket information will be announced by the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office at a later date.
