Experience Life Church celebrates 10 years and over 13,000 commitments to Christ in Lubbock and the surrounding communities.
Named one of the fastest growing churches in America in 2009, 2010, and 2013, Experience Life has grown from less than a dozen people meeting together 10 years ago, to thousands of people meeting every week across 10 campuses.
Experience Life has locations in Abernathy, Plains, Lubbock County Detention Center, CTRC-Lubbock County, Montford Prison and 2 locations in Lubbock. There are also 2 digital campuses, eLife on Facebook LIVE and eLifeOnTV, and a church plant that meets weekly just for college students called Raider Church.
“We often say that the story of eLife is a story of answered prayer. If we want to see results like they saw in the book of Acts, we have to pray like they prayed in the book of Acts. What we have seen has been nothing short of miraculous! We believe God has done the impossible over the last 10 years in and through eLife and we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years holds!” Over the past 10 years, members of Experience Life have given more than 46,400 hours in service to the community through local partnerships and events. The church has also given away over $5,000,000 to help local ministries and plant new locations.
“Our vision has always been to be a church that is “for the city.” Our desire has been to be a church that is a blessing to our communities in Jesus’ name. Our prayer is that eLife will continue to be a place that brings about positive change in this region through supporting local organizations, serving alongside side them, helping the poor, challenging our people to foster and adopt and by planting churches in our prisons.”
