We’re seeing mainly clear skies and much cooler air as we begin this Wednesday. The cold front that came in yesterday is doing its job this morning. We’re seeing temperatures down well into the low and mid 50s for most of the area. We’ll actually see mostly sunny skies today, so expect a few breaks from the sunshine. Lubbock is going to see a high temperature of 82°. The wind will remain at 5-10 mph.
By tomorrow morning, the kids will need a light jacket as they wait at the bus stop. We’re going to see a low of 56° in Lubbock, with low 50s across the western and northwestern counties. The wind will begin to increase to 10-15 mph throughout the afternoon. Expect mostly sunny skies in the afternoon, with a high temperature of 86°. The warmer air is thanks to the wind shifting back around to the south.
