High pressure is continuing to affect west Texas, by giving us more clear skies and calm weather. We’re looking at more spots down into the 50s this morning, with light wind. Expect more clear skies and light wind as we move throughout the day. Things won’t really be changing all too much from what we saw on Wednesday. Lubbock will be looking at a sunny day, with a high temperature of 85°.
Tomorrow is September 1 and we will certainly not be feeling like you’d think we would. That is thanks again to the high to the northwest of us. We will be looking at warmer air tomorrow afternoon, but highs will still remain below average. The average high is 89° in Lubbock and we will be reaching a high of 87°. That really won’t be too bad at all. The wind will stay at 5-10 mph, so get out and enjoy the day.
