A suspect accused of transporting $10.8 million worth of liquid methamphetamine has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury.

The Grand Jury indicted David Fernandez Garcia, 26, of Andrews on one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.

Garcia was found in possession of 125 pounds of liquid meth when he was pulled over for a traffic stop along I-20 in Mitchell County on July 10.

The meth was recovered by Sweetwater Police K9 Stalin after he was called to the scene for assistance.

A Facebook post from Sweetwater PD said, “Great police work and great team work to get these dangerous drugs off our streets!”
