TODAY – In Lubbock and surrounding counties we will reach the upper 90’s today. East of the Caprock expect triple digits. Clear skies and no chance of precipitation today. Lather on the sunscreen!
TOMORROW – The final day of our very hot temperatures. Expect upper 90’s and 100’s once again. A front will spark up storms on Saturday night in New Mexico.
A LOOK AHEAD – Through Sunday and Monday expect cooler conditions, more cloud cover, and a 20% chance of storms. Temperatures will reach the low 90’s and moisture is headed to the region. The bulk of the rain chances are expected west and north of Lubbock, but precipitation is likely across most of the region.
