Emergency crews responded to a Semi-truck accident near North Loop 289 and Knoxville Avenue around 9:30 Friday night.
Initial reports came in that the driver was trapped inside. However, first responders were able to rescue them shortly after they arrived at the accident. There’s no word on what caused the semi to tip over.
Officials said the truck was hauling around 32,000 pounds of car batteries. The wreck also shut down the east bound access road from quaker. A crew is currently on location getting more details.
