Lubbock Police arrested Tiffany Enriquez, 22, of Midland on an outstanding warrant for injury to a child. Jail records indicated she was wanted in Midland County for a first-degree-felony warrant.
Timothy Allen Penn, 28, was arrested last week for injury to a child as a first-degree felony. Penn and Enriquez were both listed as living in the same address according to jail records from Midland and Lubbock respectively.
On Thursday, June 22, Midland Police said, “He stated to officers that he struck a 5-month-old child multiple times late Wednesday evening.”
“The child sustained several serious injuries and is currently in critical condition,” Midland Police said last week. MPD said Tuesday morning at last check the child was still in critical condition.
Lubbock Police were told that Enriquez was in a residence in the 2200 block of 46th Street. An officer found her Monday afternoon, asked her to confirm her identity and placed her under arrest without incident.
MPD said, “The investigation by the Midland Police Department found that Enriquez’ lack of action led directly to the child suffering serious bodily injury”
Penn was held Tuesday by the Midland County Sheriff’s Department on a $250,000.00 bond. Enriquez was held Tuesday in the Lubbock County Detention Center with no bond yet listed in jail records.
