Even though Wednesday morning will start out nice and comfortable, with temperatures in the upper 60s. The rest of the day will be mostly sunny and very warm. Highs will jump up above average in the afternoon. Lubbock will be looking at a high temperature of 96°, with wind at 10-15 mph. So, the wind will try to make it feel cooler, but that won’t happen.
There is shaping up to be more pool weather as we move into the day Thursday. Skies will be looking sunny, with few clouds to block the scorching sun. It will be a hot one out there, as Lubbock will make it up to 101°. So, be sure to stay safe while spending time outdoors and stay hydrated. If you’re at the pool, just remember to re-apply that sunscreen.
