We’ll begin to feel the cooler air from Friday’s cold front by Saturday. We’ll see another round of isolated overnight storms across the area. Lubbock will drop to 66° by the morning. Saturday afternoon is looking to stay cloudy and cooler. The high for Lubbock is looking to only reach 78°. There will be isolated storms in the area during the afternoon. Coverage is going to be 20%. There is the possibility that any storm will have heavy rainfall, so be careful if you’re caught in one.

We’ll see another cool start to the day Sunday, as lows will be in the mod 60s. There will be another shot for isolated storms overnight, with coverage at 10%. Sunday afternoon is looking to see a mix of clouds and sunshine. The wind is going to be at 10-15 mph, with isolated storms in the afternoon at 10%. Highs will remain well below average, with Lubbock making it to 77° for the high temperature. We will begin to see warmer air by Monday afternoon.
