WHAT:
Texas Tech University Friends of the Libraries will host the presentation “Did Quanah Parker Lie?” by Paul H. Carlson, professor emeritus.

WHERE:
Croslin Room, Texas Tech University Library
EVENT:
Historian Paul H. Carlson will speak about the famous Native-American leader, Quanah Parker. He will discuss various scholars’ accusations of the Comanche chief not being forthcoming and truthful in several speeches he made in order to protect his family’s name.
