Well, once again, we’re just seeing cloudy skies entering the area from the south. The clouds will stick around this afternoon. Much like the last two days, we’re going to see the sunshine mixing in with the clouds. Therefore, we’ll call it partly sunny today. The showers and storms have really been relatively nil for most of the area. Expect that to continue today, with isolated, to scattered storms generally south of Lubbock. Coverage will be 20%. Lubbock will reach a high temperature of 82°.
Overnight, the clouds will return once more. That is due to the increase of moisture content in the air. So, we’ll start the weekend off with cloudy skies. The sun will be mixing in with the clouds again tomorrow. Wind will stay light and showers/storms will be scarce for most of the area. Coverage tomorrow will stay at 20%, just because of how small and slow-moving they’ll be. We’ll see a high temperature of 81°.
