Happy Monday Everyone! Tonight the mostly clear skies will continue with a low near 59. A very slight chance of showers and storms is in the forecast this evening for the northwestern South Plains but most of us will remain dry. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 87 and a low near 59. A slight chance of showers and storms are in the forecast Tuesday evening. Storms chances increase Wednesday due to higher moisture amounts across the region. Expect mostly cloudy skies with high’s dropping into the 70’s, lows will remain in the 60’s. Thursday will be another cloudy day with more storm chances. Be sure to have your umbrellas handy this week. High’s will be in the low 80’s. Friday the chance of storms will continue but we will see more sunshine. The mostly sunny skies will help raise temperatures back into the low 90’s. Saturday will be another warm day with high’s staying in the low 90’s. A slight chance for storms remain in the forecast Saturday and Sunday. Sunday and Monday will be cooler with high’s near 80 and low’s in the 60’s.
