A North Ridge Elementary School student won $1,000 after participating in a challenge hosted by the Lubbock Public Libraries.
The student, named Sarah, was the lucky winner.
The Lubbock Public Libraries hosted a Brain Race and released a riddle to the public. Kids from the ages 6-16 were able to participate in trying to solve the riddle.
The first kid to solve the riddle, find the right Lubbock Public Library location, and then find the exact book from the riddle, would receive $1,000.
Sarah said she figured the riddle out by using Morse Code.
