One person was killed and another arrested Sunday night in Big Spring following a shooting.

Sometime Sunday, officer with the Big Spring Police Department were called to 1603 Sycamore about a disturbance.

When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly noticed one person being held to the ground at the home.

Officials say inside the home one person had sustained gunshot wounds to the head.

Two witnesses told police that the suspect, Pablo Saucedo-Estrada, 21, had shot the victim and tried to leave the scene, according to the release from the Big Spring PD.

The victim was later identified as 41-year-old Victor Saucedo who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police officials say it is unclear what prompted the shooting, but learned that Pablo Saucedo-Estrada had become angry, grab a .22 caliber gun and fired two shots at Victor Saucedo.

Pablo Saucedo-Estrada, according to police, has been charged with murder.
