Brenda Lepenski joined the KLBK team in November 2019.
She is originally from Juarez, Mexico and grew up in Northern Louisiana. She spent her first two years of college at Louisiana Tech University and moved to Texas in 2008 where she graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Multimedia Journalism degree.
While in El Paso, she interned at Univision 23 and ABC 7.
Brenda is bilingual and has worked in Spanish TV as an associate producer helping produce newscasts for Dallas, Houston and Miami.
As part of her love for helping the community, she’s served as Social Media Manager and Vice President General of the Dallas Chapter of the National Association for Hispanic Journalists where she helped raise scholarship funds for students studying journalism and communications.
In her spare time she enjoys getting involved in her community, eating her mom’s enchiladas and listening to music.
