Reunion Tower will once again serve as the launching pad for a New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza that will light up the iconic Dallas skyline.

This year’s display, set to start at 11:59 p.m. CDT on December 31, has been extended to 10 minutes and will feature more than 4,000 pyrotechnic effects coordinated with Reunion Tower’s 259 LED lights for a display capable of thousands of unique designs and patterns.

With Reunion Tower’s height – some fireworks are fired from its 560 foot high dome – and its role as a centerpiece of the Dallas sklyline, the show will be visible from vantage points around the city. Spots along the Trinity River levvees and Trinity Overlook Park provide some of the best views. Or a reservation for Hyatt Regency Dallas’ New Year’s Eve package will grant access to a special fireworks viewing area. Due to safety requirement, Reunion Tower lawn is closed to the public during the show.

Those who can’t make the show in person can watch it live as the finale of Lone Star NYE Live, which will be broadcast on KXAS in Dallas and across 19 Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc television stations and web sites across Texas and surrounding states. Detailed programming info will be available soon.
