In the bottom of the fifth inning #10 Texas Tech allowed #6 TCU to score seven runs, spring boarding the Horned Frogs to a 13-6 win over the Red Raiders in game two.

Tech freshman right-handed pitcher Steven Gingery tossed four innings while only allowing one run, on four hits, along with two walk and six strikeouts.

Following the fourth inning, Tech head baseball coach Tim Tadlock pulled Gingery from the game, bringing Tech junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Moseley into the contest. In the frame, Moseley surrendered six earned runs, three of which were walked home. After five innings of play, Texas Tech had the script flipped on themselves, and were suddenly trailing 8-5.

The Horned Frogs kept their foot on the gas the rest of the way, tacking on five more runs en route to a 13-6 win over Texas Tech.

Texas Tech and TCU split the first two games, the series is tied 1-1.

The series finale is schedule for Sunday, May 1 at 1 p.m. at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth, TX.
