Visit Lubbock is excited to welcome the 109th Annual Convention for the Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association (TCGA) on Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. This will be the Association’s 38th year to hold its trade show and meeting in Lubbock.

The Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association has a long history of representing the cotton ginning industry and cooperating with other organizations throughout Texas and the United States to maintain the economic vitality and security of agriculture.

More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the 2016 TCGA’s 109th Annual Cotton Trade Show, which will result in an estimated economic impact of $275,978 to Lubbock. The Cotton Trade Show is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7 and from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8. Admission is free.

“The TCGA Annual Convention and Trade Show is the best chance for cotton ginners and growers to see the latest innovations and technologies available to assist them in improving efficiency, reducing costs and enhancing profitability,” Tony Williams, executive vice president of the Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association, said.

The theme for this year’s show is “#RockCottonTexasStyle.” Attendees are encouraged to help with promotion of the show by using #RockCottonTexasStyle on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other social media platforms that reference the TCGA Show or your excitement about cotton in 2016. The show is co-sponsored by One Grower Publishing and Cotton Farming Magazine.
