Make-A-Wish North Texas will host the 10th Annual Waltzing for Wishes on Saturday, April 23 from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.
Guests will enjoy an evening of dinner, followed by a dance competition and silent and live auction.
Waltzing for Wishes features local “celebrity” dancers who are matched with a professional dance partner and provided dance lessons the weeks prior to the big night.
Each dancer will showcase their talents and dazzle the audience with their grace and newly developed skills.
The goal is to raise $350,000 this year. Money raised will go to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Wishes come in all shapes and sizes, but the average cost of a wish is $9,000. Your support of Waltzing for Wishes provides children with hope for better times, strength for the tough times and the joy of experiencing the present.
