Computers and other electronics were stolen from a building at Abilene High School after burglars climbed onto the roof and broke through a window over the weekend.
An incident report filed with the Abilene Police Department says unknown suspects broke into the old vocational building at AHS on the 2800 block of N. 6th Street by “climbing onto the roof and breaking out a window and crawling in” sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning.
Over eleven items, including iPhones, computers, an iPad, a hard drive, video games, a digital camera, cash, batteries, and more, were stolen before the suspects exited out a side door, according to the report.
The total value of the stolen items is just under $1,500 collectively.
