Two people are dead after a head-on collision on the Marsha Sharp Freeway near University.
It happened Monday night around 9:45.
Lubbock Police tell EverythingLubbock.com they got a call around 9:30 p.m. about a wrong way driver on the Marsha Sharp.
They were traveling the wrong way in the westbound lanes.
Police were called out to find them and were already on the way when the crash happened.
Officials tell us the crash involved two cars and both drivers were killed.
As of Monday night, no names have been released but we do know the victims are a man and a woman.
The highway was closed for quite some time while officials investigated the crash.
