The West Texas Home Builders Association is proud to announce this year’s Home and Garden Show.

Tickets are available at the door, $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Lubbock Homes for Heroes.

This year’s Show will feature multiple vendors with booths on display highlighting trends in the home and garden industries.

The 2016 Home and Garden Show will also feature some great presentations from local experts and Master Gardeners on West Texas landscaping, water conservation and attracting birds and butterflies. Thanks to sponsor Betenbough Homes, the Lego Home Building Contest for kids will return encouraging fun for the whole family. Children age 6 – 12 can compete for prizes on Saturday from 11 AM – 12 PM and Sunday from 2 PM – 3 PM.  Due to popular demand, an open division for ages 6 and up was added on Saturday from 3 PM – 4 PM.

While at the Home and Garden Show, guests can visit the Parade of Homes booth promoting the upcoming June event which will feature some of Lubbock’s finest builders in three premier developments: Fox Ridge, Oakmont Estates and the Trails at Regal Park.

“We are excited to feature some of Lubbock’s most prominent experts on topics that matter to West Texans,” commented West Texas Home Builders Association spokeswoman Gena Godinez. “Bringing back the wildly successful Lego Home Building contest for kids, sponsored by Betenbough Homes was also a no-brainer. Families had a wonderful time together! Parents can register their children online or in person with fun prizes awarded for the best Lego homes!”
