The United Martial Arts Training Center is hosting the 2017 Wushu National Championships, which include the 2017 USAWKF Team Trials and Nationals Tournament, at the Civic Center Exhibit Hall from Friday July 21st through Sunday July 23rd.

This event will feature the best Chinese style martial arts in the country as they compete to win a spot on the National teams that will compete in the World Championship in Kazan, Russia this September. Delegations from 14 states are currently coming to Lubbock, Texas.

We will have an opening ceremony with demonstrations of the Chinese martial arts of Wushu with acrobatic forms, traditional weapons, and sparring will be shown by the nation’s best athletes. We have tickets available at Ralph’s Records at 3322 82nd St or at United Martial Arts $45 for 3 day pass that includes(opening and closing ceremonies, Banquet with BQ dinner and music from local band “Beyond Texas” Tickets will also be available at Exhibit Hall the days of competition for $10 a day.
