#22 Texas Tech(17-8) came back, after a loss to UNLV on Monday, to split the series with a 14-6 shellacking of the Rebels on Tuesday.

Tech never trailed in Game Two, and the Red Raiders broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning.

Tim Tadlock’s team has now won nine of its last 11 games.

Starting pitcher Ty Damron allowed three earned runs in five innings for the Matadors, and Robert Dugger allowed three runs as well(in three innings pitched).

Cory Raley had a banner day at the plate, plating four Tech RBI on four hits.

Tech will return to action on Friday, with a three-game home series against the Kansas State Wildcats.
