Bring your dogs to an Easter egg hunt just for them! Maxey Community Center is hosting their 3rd Annual Dog Bone Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, 4111 University. This event is a perfect way to celebrate Easter with your furry friends! Participants will enjoy pictures with the Easter Bunny, pet vendors, an Easter parade, and a dog bone Easter egg hunt with their pets. Bring your pup dressed up in their Easter best, and you could win a prize basket for the Best Dressed Dog.
Dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination and have with them a 2017 rabies tag or certificate from a veterinarian. Dogs must be on leash, and aggressive dogs or dogs in heat are not allowed.
City of Lubbock Animal Services will be hosting a booth at this event and will be providing microchips for dogs for Lubbock residents. Microchips are the best way to ensure that a lost pet is reunited with its owners. Cost is $10 per dog.
