Reel in the kids and bring them out to the 3rd Annual Lubbock Lions Club & AMBUCS Kidfish on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Maxey Park! All ages.
The event is completely free! Parents and guardians can have fun fishing with their kids. Bring your fishing pole and tackle, as we will have a very limited number of poles to lend out! Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. All you have to do is register you and your family at http://www.kidfishlubbock.com/. Don’t forget chairs, a blanket, and sunscreen!
Maxey Community Center is located at 4020 30th Street. They are open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Fridays 8:30 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 – 6:00 p.m., as well as on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. For more information, call the center at 806-767-3796.
