Andrews Mission was started 5 years ago. Andrew passed away April 28, 2012 from hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Andrew spent roughly half his life in Covenants Children’s Hospital. Andrews mom Sasha wanted do something in Andrews name.. So she started Andrews Mission. She wanted to give the kids that are at Covenant during Christmas toys on Christmas Eve. It’s just expanded and has only gotten bigger every year! Now the toys roughly have lasted through June-July of the next year. It would be a blessing if the toys could last a whole year, and even if Andrews Mission could expand to other hospitals in Lubbock and even the surrounding communities, if it keeps growing like it is, it can happen! Cause I can tell you that’s exactly what Andrew wants! All fire stations are drop off locations and there are a few businesses also.

This started December 5th and will last till the 22nd.

The way the community can help and get involved is to donate new unwrapped toys. Here are a few examples: movies, stuffed animals, nerf guns, things the kids can play with if they can’t get out of bed, etc..
