We will have live entertainment by Kenny Maines. There will also be a silent and live auction. Some of the items featured include: dinner and movie packages, gift cards, sporting supplies and tickets, décor items, fire arms, and autographed Texas Tech memorabilia. You won’t want to miss it, so purchase your tickets now at www.refugeservices.org by calling Refuge Services at (806) 748-7202.

The organization’s co-founder said the funds are used exclusively for clients who cannot afford treatment. “There have been many people this year affected by budget cuts in schools and agencies reducing service availability, decreased insurance benefits, and lost jobs due to the economy,” Patti Mandrell said. “So many of our clients cannot afford it, and this is what helps them get the therapy they need.”

Mandrell said this is the 7th year for the Boots and Buckles Benefit. The fundraiser has raised over $278,000 over the last 6 years. This has allowed Refuge to increase services to over 160 clients per week. These funds benefit both children and adults with physical disabilities as well as psychological needs. These funds help reduce rates for anyone in need as well provide therapy at no cost to our veterans and their families.
