The Bridge of Lubbock is so excited to be hosting its 8th annual Bridge Bash; a huge clothing giveaway. We have clothes for every age. It will be Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are encouraging individuals to keep in mind that this is a “first come first serve” event. Therefore showing up early is highly recommended.
The Bridge of Lubbock is located at 1301 Redbud Avenue in East Lubbock.
We are overwhelmed with joy and grateful to be partnering with Quality Inn by Choice Hotels. They are donating hundreds of pillows. We are very excited to hopefully bless people with something that some take for granted and thankful to Quality Inn for their generosity in assisting us in making this happen.
Guadalupe Economics is also partnering with us to help us provide as many people as we can with clothes and household items. Experience Life is also a generous partner in this annual event. We are extremely thankful to all of these amazing organizations in our community who are helping us make this event the most beneficial for the people we serve.
Donations for the Bridge Bash are accepted Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at The Bridge of Lubbock. Individual drop-off appointments may be scheduled by calling The Bridge of Lubbock at (806) 687-0772.
The Bridge of Lubbock is a privately-funded, non-profit organization located in East Lubbock looking to restore the foundation of hope in the community. The organization also offers after-school Christian mentoring programs for children ages 1st through 12th grade. The Bridge also offers Project: Prom to provide free, gently-worn dresses to young women incapable of buying their own.
