Beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2017, the City of Lubbock with Guardian Construction will begin construction of a waterline tap at 98th Street and York Avenue.
Construction will restrict access along 98th Street from Wayne Avenue to York Avenue. During the construction, two westbound lanes along 98th Street will be closed.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution when driving in the construction area is necessary.
