Firefighters from the Abilene Professional Fire Fighters Association announced their endorsement of Michael Bob Starr for U.S. Congress.

The APFFA Vice-President and Political Action Committee Chairman Ben Cotton said that Association leadership met with Michael Bob Starr in December and visited about several topics, according to a press release from the APFFA.

“Colonel Starr cares deeply about the City of Abilene, the citizens, and our country. He is committed to being a true representative of the people,” said Cotton.

“Michael Bob Starr is a proven leader. He has accomplished a great deal up to this point. His dedication to our country is extraordinary,” said APFFA President Jimmy Hall.

Michael Bob Starr is running for U.S. Congress District 19 Representative.

Starr served in the Air Force for 23 years and was commander at Dyess Air Force Base.
