What started as a larger-than-life proposal has budded into true love, prompting two Abilene restaurants to join together for a good cause.
The mascots for Abilene’s north side Chick-fil-A and Taco Casa ran off into the sunset hand-in-hand Tuesday nearly one month after Taco Casa posted the following proposal to the billboard outside their store on Overland Trail:
“Chick fil A – Will You Marry Me?”
Chick-fil-A then posted the following response outside their store on State Highway 351:
“Taco Casa – Bring Tacos and We Will Consider”
Taco Casa must have come through with their end of the deal because now the restaurants are holding a raffle to celebrate their newly-founded relationship.
Customers can purchase tickets to win either a year of Taco Casa or a year of Chick-fil-A at either restaurant location beginning on March 1st and the drawing will take place on April 1st.
Each entry will cost $1.00 and all proceeds will go to Hope Haven.
