An Abilene woman has been arrested after taking advantage of an elderly woman.
Judy Isbell, 53, was arrested Wednesday and charged with Exploitation of Child/Disabled/Elderly and Forgery. She’s being held in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $10,500.
The Abilene Police Department says Isbell is accused of exploiting an elderly woman she was cleaning house for by taking her debit card, credit card, and checkbook then charging $2,000.
She was caught trying to cash the stolen checks.
