An Oklahoma man with current criminal charges in Lubbock was arrested Tuesday in Oklahoma City, and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, kidnapping, and lewd acts with a child.
Thomas Jeffrey Leach, 26, was found with a missing Amarillo teen.
Amarillo Police listed the teen as a runaway according to a police report.
In Lubbock, Leach was charged for misdemeanor assault, deadly conduct, and resisting arrest. Court records said he hit a woman on February 19 in the 8200 block of Lynnhaven Avenue. He was also accused of firing a gun during the incident.
Leach was able to post bond on February 24 to be released from the Lubbock County Detention Center.
In Oklahoma City, Leach was held on a bond of $70,000 for each charge.
