Ag Journal Weather Forecast: Week of April 23rd

Happy Monday everyone! After a warm and breezy Sunday, temperatures will continue to climb through Tuesday afternoon with lots of sunshine expected. However, we have some forecast changes arriving early Tuesday evening due to our next cold front. This will drop temperatures back below average and will bring us our next chance for showers and thunderstorms beginning Tuesday evening and continuing through Thursday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the South Plains under the Marginal Risk Category for strong to severe storms on Tuesday evening. Biggest threats will be small to moderate sized hail and strong winds. Temperatures will rebound quickly following the rain with sunshine expected throughout the first half of this upcoming weekend.
