OXFORD, Ala. – One Alabama man took to Facebook to share a special message after he and his friends made sure an older woman wouldn’t have to eat dinner alone.
In his Facebook post, Jamario Howard said he and his two friends, JaMychol Baker and Tae Knight, were grabbing dinner at a restaurant called Brad’s in Oxford, Alabama.
He said they noticed an older woman eating alone and after a moment of thought, he decided to go over and talk to her.
After learning the next day would have been her 60th anniversary with her late husband, he invited her to join them at their table so she wouldn’t have to eat by herself.
In the end, he said, “The point in this is always be kind and be nice to people. You never know what they are going through.”
