Customers and employees were evacuated from a Walmart in Amarillo Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was called into the store.

The store is located at 4215 Canyon Drive.

According to Amarillo Police, a call was placed to the store at 10:40 a.m. The caller gave employees 30 minutes to leave the building.

Officers and employees have checked building but not suspicious items have been found.

The Randall County Sheriff’s Office was assisting with traffic and scene control.

Our sister station, KAMR-TV, reports employees have now been let back into the building.

This is the same Walmart store that was the scene of a hostage situation and a workplace shooting last month.
