Update: Albuquerque CBS affiliate KRQE is reporting the body of Ashlynn Mike has been located. The Navajo Nation public safety director says the body of the 11-year-old girl kidnapped from a reservation has been found.
Officials told KRQE News 13 the girl’s body was found six to eight miles south of the Shiprock monument.

Ashlynn Mike was last seen today (Monday) in San Juan County around 4:00 p.m. Ashlynn Mike is described as a eleven year old Native American female, approximately four feet eight inches tall, weighing 80 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Ashlynn was last seen wearing blue jeans, a pink pullover, and purple shoes.
An unknown Native American male abducted Ashlynn. Abductor was last seen in the area of Navajo Route 36 Mile Post 13 at 4:00 p.m., the vehicle is described as a maroon van. Unknown vehicle make, unknown license plate.
